3 October 2008 - 1st National Championship in Cotonou

1st National Championship in Cotonou Cotonou (BEN) – 3 October 2008   The first Outdoor Archery National Championship of Benin took place in Cotonou on 20-21 September 2008. Competitions lasted two days and regrouped 106 archers come from all the departments.   The main objective of this first championship was to gain interest from all those who do not know our sport. The day before the event, we formed the judges to give them the main knowledge to accompany archers during the championship.     More photos...   The first day, was the one of FITA ROUND with bamboo bow on 30, 25, 20 and 15 meters. The following morning, we head-to-head matches were competed and the afternoon was reserved for competitions of teams with bamboo bow and with classic bow of training.   This championship benefited from a strong media campaign at the level of all newspapers.
