7 November 2008 - Youth Olympic Games: IOC Visit to Singapore

IOC Visit to Singapore Lausanne – 7 November 2008   During its first visit to Singapore, the Coordination Commission for the first Youth Olympic Games, chaired by IOC member Sergey BUBKA, had the chance to visit several competition venues and hear about the cultural and educational programme offered by the Organising Committee for these Games (SYOGOC).   In this connection, a Learning Centre devoted to the Games was opened in Singapore by Sergey BUBKA; Ser Miang NG, IOC member and SYOGOC Chairman; and CHEE Hean Teo, President of the Singapore National Olympic Council.   More details on www.olympic.org.
