1. What is the most significant improvement you have noticed in the World Cup since it started back in 2006? 2. Are you following a special training programme for the upcoming world championships? Recurve Men Thomas AUBERT (FRA) 1. I have always had a very good impression. The finals are great and the organisation in general is excellent compared to what we have in France. 2. Yes, shooting as much as I can, but it is difficult to match it with my studies. Chris MARSH (SUI) 1. Quality of work, now there is a routine installed and everything is handled much smoother and faster, the staff is much more knowledgeable. Any special souvenir from last year? I still have the mug of Porec from last year that hasn’t broken yet. I use it for my morning tea. Tom BARBER (GBR) 1. Well, organisation I guess. I haven’t been to many World Cups. It all gets more exciting every time. 2. Nothing different from what I do usually. Training six days a week with 3 to 4 hour sessions. Daniel MORILLO (ESP) 1. The advertising and the sponsors, as well as having archery more present on TV. 2. Nothing special, apart from a 3-week training camp in Korea right before the world championships. Recurve Women Deonne BRIDGER (AUS) 1. I think the whole thing is more organised than when I used to shoot, the information is available, the format of competition… I am very impressed. Magali FOULON (ESP) 1. Definitely the organisation and that now we have more tents for the archers. 2. I keep up the same… just shooting arrows. Begul LUKLUOGLU (TUR) 1. The fields of play and locations are getting better and also my ranking! 2. Yes, we have more training camps that are much harder than previous ones. Victoriya KOVAL (UKR) 1. I think it is good, I want to see the Final and I am happy that the weather is nice this year here and results are getting better. 2. In world championships and Olympic Games years, we use the international competitions, such as the World Cup, as training and qualification system for the national team. I hope very much that I will be qualifying for the world championships because they will be in Korea and that is a very special country for archery. Chantal STEINER FITA Communication
