Longines Media Session

 
  Longines invited Danish media to meet the star archers of Denmark prior to the World Cup Final in Copenhagen on Saturday 26 September. Numerous newspapers and TV channels representatives came to the Queen Castle Rosenborg to discover archery and interview the archers from the Danish team. Camilla SOEMOD, who will compete in compound women on Saturday was present, as well as Martin DAMSBO, the 90-metre world record holder and bronze medallist at the 2007 world championships, and Carina CHRISTIANSEN, who ranked 7th at the recent world championships in Ulsan. The three of them will also participate in the mixed team events on Saturday.  SOEMOD won her place among the top four compound women of the year thanks to her victory at the World Cup stage in Shanghai and her 3rd place at the stage in Antalya. She also ranked 4th at the recent world championships. She will shoot her semifinal match on Saturday morning at 11:00 against Ivana BUDEN (CRO) in the spectacular setting of the Nyhawn canal.   For the occasion of this media session, Longines developed special target faces based on the Longines Master Collection watch.   A fun and instructive session!   More info on the Longines website and more photos...   Didier MIEVILLE FITA Communication
