1000 days to go to the London 2012 Paralympic Games

3 December marked exactly 1000 days to go until the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Paralympic Games. This was another landmark moment in time for Para-Archery. The occasion was marked by Paralympic archers, who shot arrows towards targets across the Meridian line in Greenwich.

The London 2012 team was also delighted to launch the Paralympic pictograms - icons representing each Paralympic sport featuring in the London 2012 programme. As with the Olympic pictograms, there are two versions: a sihouette and a 'dynamic' one that really helps to bring the sport to life.
