Sweden loses former world champion Sigrid JOHANSSON
Lausanne - 19 March 2010
We have just been informed that Mrs Sigrid JOHANSSON (SWE) passed away last night. Sigrid became Archery World Champion in 1958 and was an Emeritus Judge since many years and she was a wonderful person. She was 94 and up until two weeks ago was still working for Bjorn BENGSTON, one of FITA's licensed manufacturers. The FITA community extend their condolences to Sigrid's family and to the Swedish Archery Association.
FITA will be represented by Bjorn BENGSTON at the funeral. As soon as we have more details we will publish them on the website.
