Donnersbach-Planneralm (AUT) - 31 August-3 September 2011  Welcome to Donnersbach-Planneralm! Donnersbach-Planneralm, Austria is the host village for the World Archery 3D Championships which will be held from 31 August until 3 September 2011.

We want to warmly welcome all Athletes, Officials, Technical Delegates, Judges and everybody else who are interested in archery.

The Local Organising Committee (LOC) is proud to announce that based on the adequate number of participants the world champion titles and medals will be awarded in all categories.

The competition takes place in and around Donnersbach, where the "Freizeitpark" with the small lake serves as a central area for this event. Karl ADELWOEHRER and his team are responsible for building the courses; the Mayor and LOC President Karl LACKNER photo has taken charge of local interests and logistics; Heinz LACKNER and his team have taken charge of the administrative duties.

This important sporting event will be the most important one of the sport history of Donnersbach, where various Provincial Championships and Austrian National Championships have made Donnersbach and the Planneralm known for archery far beyond its borders until now.

We have undertaken a huge effort to organise a perfect event and our special wish is you will have an enjoyable stay in Donnersbach-Planneralm during the event. With the extensive experience of the Austrian Archery Federation and the support of the members of the Ennstal Archery Club, we look forward with confidence to this important event.
