Communication of sanctions: Jonathan Giocondi of France

French archer Jonathan Giocondi has been suspended under clean sport rules.

The athlete was found in violation of Article 34.2.1 of the World Archery Anti-Doping Rules after testing positive for the prohibited substance Atenolol, which belongs to the beta-blocker class of the World Anti-Doping Agency prohibited list.

The sanctions imposed are as follows:

  • Disqualification of all prizes, points and medals obtained since 24 February 2019.
  • A five-month suspension until 29 November 2019.
