Preview: World ranking points on offer at 2025 Veronica’s Cup in Slovenia

Veronicas Cup 2024

The Veronica’s Cup, one of the key European ranking events of the year, is taking place again in May in the familiar surroundings of the medieval town of Kamnik, Slovenia.

Named after a semi-legendary local countess, the competition has been running since 2016 and winners across the years have included Mete Gazoz, Amanda Mlinaric, Nico Wiener, Toja Ellison, David Pasqualucci and three-time champion Gasper Strajhar.

It is a testing ground for many international squads and a chance for amateurs to try their luck against some of Europe and Asia’s top athletes. Archers can enter as part of national teams or individually with club affiliations.

Over 300 archers are competing in Kamnik this year in senior, under-21 and under-18 categories across recurve and compound.
