Vacancies: Event manager and project coordinator at World Archery

World Archery is advertising for two full-time positions within its sport department: an event manager to lead the delivery of major international competitions; and a project coordinator to support cross-departmental projects between the events and marketing teams.

Both roles are based at the federation’s headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland.

The event manager position is aimed at an experienced professional with a strong track record in planning and delivering complex international sports events. The successful candidate will oversee operational coordination across World Archery’s global calendar, manage relationships with host cities and local organising committees, ensure compliance with regulations and drive innovation across the event portfolio. The role requires extensive international travel and the ability to work across different cultures and time zones.

The project coordinator position is ideal for someone early in their career with strong organisational skills, an interest in international sport and a desire to gain hands-on experience in event and marketing operations. The role involves administrative and logistical support for World Archery events, assistance with marketing campaigns and content distribution, and coordination between internal departments.

Both positions require excellent communication skills, strong teamwork and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Fluency in French and proficiency in English are required for the project coordinator role, while advanced English skills and extensive professional experience are essential for the event manager position.

Applications accompanied by a motivation letter and curriculum vitae should be submitted to hr@archery.sport by midnight CET on 14 December 2025. Interviews will be held at the end of December 2025 or early January 2026.
