The FITA office setting higher targets
Lausanne - 14 March 2006
FITA President Dr Ugur Erdener invited all the members of the office as well as the Vice Presidents Paul Paulsen and Bob Smith for a quality workshop.
All the participants went to Turkey and followed a workshop on « service quality » from last Friday to Sunday, under the direction of the company TSE Consulting. Moreover, a presentation of quality improvement programmes has been made by Haceteppe University Hospitals.
All the employees of the FITA office actively took part in the seminar to define their working values, the way to communicate them and apply them to a high quality service as an International Sport Federation. Thanks to the reflective and the practical sessions of the workshop, the FITA office will further improve and document its working principles and review its corporate identity. Many changes will take place in the months to come. The move in July to the International House of Sport in Lausanne will be a catalyst and a key milestone in the project.
President Erdener was very satisfied with the week-end and declared that the efficiency of the office will play a major role in the success of FITA’s various projects.
The seminar was led by TSE Consulting; an international management consultancy firm specialized in advising cities and countries as well as training services for sports organizations. TSE is also working with FITA on the “Think Tank” process and its future strategic plan.
