Same questions of yesterday, but different archers and officials !
1. This is the 20th Golden Arrow tournament in Antalya. How many did you participate in?
2. What is your best souvenir / memories ?
3. How are you shooting today?

1. It’s my sixth time in this competition.
2. A bronze medal.
3. So-so.
Di Buo (ITA)
1. About 15 times.
2. To take a bath in the sea at 7 o’clock in the morning.
3. I am happy with the results, but not with the way I am shooting.
Frangilli (ITA)
1. About 12 times I believe, since 1995.
2. To see the city develop over the years.
3. It’s OK as usual.
Pineda Lopez (MEX)
1. Two times.
2. I like the souvenir I bought versus the evil eye.
3. Very good.
Gagoz (TUR)
1. Seven.
2. National Team T-shirt.
3. So-so.
Seki (JAP)
1. Third time.
2. The souvenir I bought versus the evil eye.
3. Japan is very good at shooting this year!

3. Not good as it is supposed to be, but tomorrow is another day.

3. I am shooting well today, although this is not my best score. I hope that later on the week, I will achieve a nice rank in individuals and also with the team. This year is important for me and I have done special training for strength and endurance to be more effective in windy conditions. I hope I will earn my best result ever at the Leipzig World Championships.

2. We’ll see but I like the organization and the weather here.
3. It’s going well... but I won’t break the World Record this time (smiling).
Goncharova (RUS)
1. Six times.
2. The two wins (individual and team) last year.
3. Not as well as I would like but it’s OK. Around 6th place in the FITA Round is normal for me.
Ericsson (SWE)
1. About eight times.
2. Last year I had a good feeling because I was coming back to a high level tournament after more than one year.
3. It’s OK. I’ll take a place in the top four.
Simpson (GBR)
1. Four times.
2. Last year, when I won the bronze.
3. Not very good at all… Actually I feel like I am shooting well but the arrows don’t go where I want. Maybe I have to adapt to my new bow.
Zorman (CRO)
1. Second time.
2. Last year, we won a team silver. That was great. It’s too bad the trophy is not at my place…
3. I just had a technical failure with my bow. Now it’s OK, but I will have to repair it tonight.
Donmez (TUR)
1. Ten times.
2. I like the bags.
3. Pretty good I think.

1. Three times.
2. I guess the pictures…
3. The wind is a little tricky but I think my shooting is good.

Paul H. Paulsen – FITA First Vice President
1. About 10 or 15 times.
2. What satisfies me is that I have seen the tournament growing every year. Now it has achieved such a high international standard. We are receiving great feedback from archers and officials. Moreover, there is a real sense of hospitality to all the participants in the tournament.
3. Let’s talk about the shooting in the tournament: it is very high! I heard a special story about Petersson today. He had a broken limb on his bow and he didn’t realize it until the end of the 90 meters. He was pretty down in the ranking but he managed to come back towards the end. That shows the kind of mentality the archers have.
Ernesto Diaz Bazan – FITA Council Member, President of the Pan-American Archery Confederation and the El Salvador Association
1. Three times.
2. Everything is very good here and, most importantly, the organisers do every thing needed for the archers. The field is neat and personally I am impressed with the yellow umbrellas and chairs. I like them so much that I made a copy of them a for my home in El Salvador (smiling).
3. Today the shooting is fine… but yesterday, my heart had a hard time supporting Jorge Jimenez!
Tom Dielen – FITA Secretary General
1. Eight times.
2. The superb Men Compound final, Dos Santos – Elzinga, last year. It went to the third arrow of the shoot-off!
3. I would love to shoot here, but I don’t have the level to match these world class archers (smile). The level is just excellent in Antalya this year!
Juan Carlos Holgado – FITA Event Director
1. About 20 times in total, including 10 times competing.
2. The real archery show last year for the final day with the spectators and the television.
3. I don’t have the pleasure to shoot today, but I have the one of helping the ladies retrieving their arrows from the target.
