The 2026 outdoor season started in Puebla, Mexico last week – the first stage of the 2026 Hyundai Archery World Cup and now gathers pace in Europe.

Some of the continent’s leading archers head to Antalya for the Spring Arrows tournament, which once again opens the annual European Grand Prix circuit.

It is the 10th time the event features on the international calendar and offers an early benchmark for outdoor form across the continent.

Some of the archers who competed in Puebla return to action in Antalya, including reigning World Cup compound men’s champion and 2025 Spring Arrows runner-up Emircan Haney. Other nations are sending development-focused squads, including France.

Entries have increased significantly from the 2025 edition, with 303 archers across recurve and compound men’s and women’s events representing 37 countries in Türkiye, compared to 227 athletes from 27 nations last year.
