2027 Hyundai Indoor World Series calendar released as new rules confirmed

The calendar for the 2027 Hyundai Indoor World Series has been released, with eight ranking events scheduled from October 2026 to March 2027 before the circuit concludes with its Finals in Las Vegas.

The series will visit eight cities across three competition levels – Hyundai IWS 1000, Hyundai IWS 500 and Hyundai IWS 250.

The season opens with the Swiss Open in Lausanne from 30 October to 1 November, followed by events in Luxembourg, Brazil and Singapore in November and December. The Rushmore Rumble in Indianapolis, Nimes Tournament, Merida IWS and The Vegas Shoot complete the ranking calendar in early 2027.

The Hyundai Indoor World Series Finals will take place in Las Vegas on 14 March 2027, alongside The Vegas Shoot.

Hyundai will become title sponsor of the Indoor World Series from the 2027 season, further strengthening its long-standing support of international archery.

The company has been title sponsor of the Hyundai Archery World Cup since 2016 and the Hyundai World Archery Championships since 2017. Earlier this year, Hyundai also became title sponsor of the Hyundai World Archery Para Series.

The 2027 season will therefore mark the first year in which Hyundai supports all three of World Archery’s international circuits – outdoor, para and indoor.

The new partnership will also introduce Hyundai branding, hospitality and activation requirements for organisers across the series.

The new season also introduces a consolidated set of regulations and organiser requirements, bringing the two previously separate documents together into a single reference for organisers, participants and World Archery staff.

The series will continue to feature elite and youth rankings, calculated from each athlete’s best three eligible results, while the former open ranking has been removed. The regulations also clarify qualification, seeding and tie-breaking procedures for the Hyundai Indoor World Series Finals.
