Kocutova sets world and European compound 50+ women’s records

Slovakia’s Petra Kocutova set new world and European records in the compound 50+ women’s double 50-metre round, scoring 1368 points in a national competition on 3 October held in the village of Jasov.

Her score improved the previous European record of 1357 points, set by Belgium’s Martine Stas-Couwenberg on 10 May 2026, by 11 points.

Kocutova has also made headlines this year alongside fellow Slovak archer Jozef Bosansky. The pair broke the compound 50+ mixed team world record in May before improving their own mark days later.

Kocutova previously enjoyed success on the indoor circuit.

In 2025, she won three silver medals at Indoor Archery World Series stages in the compound 50+ women’s category – in Nimes, Lausanne and Luxembourg. She also won the compound 50+ women’s title at the Sud de France Archery Tournament in 2023 and returned to the podium in 2025, finishing second in the same category.
