Job Title:
Operational Competition Manager for Archery
Sport:

Job Function/ Description:
· To provide competitions in the cited sport during the Asian Games equivalent in technical and ambience quality to a world championship.
· To supervise the organisation of the Test Events, Training, Warm-up and Competitions in the cited sport.
· To implement the regulations of each IF and/or AF to deliver the sport at the highest possible quality standard for Asia’s best athletes to show their talents.
· To ensure that each competition is organised consistently in style and quality.
· To prepare, refine and supervise the competition schedule of the above cited sport.
· To confirm arrangements with IFs/AFs for the conduct of the competition.
· To provide essential data (field of play dimensions, seating requirements, course design, etc) to venue planners.
· To seek IF/AF approval for field of play design, determine numbers of technical officials required in collaboration with Technical Delegate.
· To define and supervise the necessary workforce selection and sport-specific volunteers.
· To define the field of play access mechanisms.
· To identify sports equipment requirements.
· To manage the sporting competition.
Local or International:
INTERNATIONAL
Education Level:
University degree. Preferably bachelor degree.
Min. Years Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in Sports Management of Archery. A high level of expertise in the management of the Sports of Archery is mandatory.
Skills Required:
· Experience in the Management of various functional and operational competition and training areas.
· Experience in the planning and implementation of Archery in a major multi-sport event.
· Experience in the management of the logistics & the day-to-day schedules of athletes, teams & officials.
· Experience in Sports Competitions Operations’ and ‘Field of Play’ activities.
· Experience in the communication and collaboration with the International Federation.
· Experience in the liaison with national and international agencies, external suppliers, press & broadcasters.
Special Qualifications / Certifications:
Experience in the management of the sport of Archery in Multi-Sports Games.
