Taking the lead one after the other in the whole match, the two competitors Alison Williamson and Elena Tonetta were finally tied at the end of the match (104-104). Taking up first in the shoot-off, Williamson could only manage an 8, which left the door open to Tonetta… who, with a 9 decided she would take her category’s Bronze!
Recurve Men – Jayanta Talukdar (IND) vs. Magnus Petersson (SWE)
The 20-year old archer suffered from a bad start where he shot 25 out of a possible 30. Trailing from the very first arrow, he could never come back against a very regular adversary, Magnus Petersson from Sweden. Final score: 111-107 and bronze medal for Petersson.
