Sport Presentation is an integral part of the sports concept of the Olympic Games London 2012. FITA is extremely pleased with the progress of LOCOG in this matter and the pro-active approach of LOCOG in this critical part of modern sports. FITA explained the current concept in place with our Show Director, Mr Rocky Bester, and Sports Announcer George Tekmitchov. LOCOG explained the process they put in place and will now work together with FITA in the next five years.
The FITA Secretary General stated that “London really shows the way forward with an OCOG fully understanding the need for a well developed sports presentation. FITA and LOCOG will together develop solutions to even better present the sport to the general public. In addition to the mythical aspect of the Lords venue, we are confident that sports presentation will produce magic Olympic Games for archery.”
